New Analytical Chemistry Courses
- Beginning fall 2008, a new, two-course analytical sequence will be introduced. The first course, Chem253, will cover traditional wet analytical chemistry and some electrochemistry. The second course, Chem254, will cover sampling, statistics, and spectroscopic and chromatographic methods of analysis. This change is designed to introduce sophomores to instrumental techniques that they can use in upper level classes and independent study.
- Chem 254 will replace Instrumental Methods of Analysis (Chem392), which will no longer be offered.
Environmental Chemistry Lab
- In fall 2008, Dr. Sharpless will be offering the lab portion of Chem331. This will be the first time in a while that the course has been avaible.
